Experimental Animation workshop at NCA

In October I was invited to conduct another (The previous one was conducted last year) experimental/stop motion workshop at the National College of Arts, Lahore. Here is some of the work done by the students (First year M.A Multimedia Arts)

Each of these was completed during the duration of one class (four hours). More of the work can be viewed here

The Cold Absolute

All religious references are completely unconscious, I came up with this while listening to Emptiness Unobstructed by Nevermore. The lyrics and Warrel's voice make me sad, like being in search for something unattainable.

Let's just say it's about the human condition... or something :D.

A quick mixed media thingie. Markers and gouache mostly, I like how it turned out. supposed to be inspired by beta/fighter fish, a sea prince or whatever.
